The new year comes
and everyone succumbs
Looking for things anew
and hoping for a better view.
Seasons change
People change
Change is inevitable
Change can be effortful
Change can be very unnerving
Yet ever so deserving.
Isn't it ironic?
Though persistent
the only thing constant
in the world is change.
To wake up every morn
is a change from the norm.
With strength and
without reservation
One who embraces it
can only be referred to as Great.
