Free from one thing or the other
or free to do one thing or the other.
Free to speak.....
but words can hurt.
Free to drink.....
but not referred to as an alcoholic.
Free to roam....
but still have shelter.
Free to dance.....
but not have sore feet.
Free from physical work.....
but have the comforts of life.
Free to hate.......
hatred begets hatred.
Free to eat......
but not be a glutton or anorexic.
Free to see.....
but not called a pervert.
Free to sleep......
and accused of being lazy.
Free to feel....
but not referred to as emotional.
Free to Love.....
and be truly loved in return.
Free to give....
but also free to take.
Free to take....
and not give anything in return.
Free to have sex....
and not referred to as a dog.
Free to trust.....
but not referred to as naive.
Free to be ambitious......
but not referred to as ruthless or cold.
Freedom doesn't really exist for if it did
none of the clauses would matter....
and if none of the above clauses didn't matter
......... there would be chaos.
So at the end of it all
everyone wants to be free
but not everyone has considered the REAL price of freedom.
